Clare Smyth

Clare Smyth MBE, born on September 6, 1978, in Northern Ireland, is a celebrated chef renowned for her exceptional culinary skills and contributions to the culinary world. With a passion for fine dining, Smyth has carved out a remarkable career, earning accolades that highlight her innovative approach to cuisine.

After honing her craft under the tutelage of esteemed chefs, Smyth became the first female chef to run a restaurant with three Michelin stars in the UK when she took the helm at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London. Her time there solidified her reputation as a leading figure in the culinary scene, showcasing her ability to blend traditional techniques with contemporary flavors.

In 2017, Clare opened her own restaurant, Core, in London, which quickly garnered critical acclaim and was awarded its own Michelin star within a year of opening. Core is celebrated for its focus on seasonal ingredients and sustainability, reflecting Smyth's commitment to responsible cooking practices.
