Camila Pitanga

Camila Pitanga Manhães Sampaio, born on June 14, 1977, is a celebrated Brazilian actress acclaimed for her work in both film and television. Hailing from a family of performers—her mother Vera Manhães and father Antônio Pitanga are both actors, and her brother Rocco Pitanga also shares the profession—Camila's journey in the arts began early. She made her debut at just six years old in the film *Quilombo* (1984).

Over the years, Camila has made a significant mark in the television scene, notably portraying Bebel in the telenovela *Paraíso Tropical* (2007), which earned her several prestigious accolades, including the APCA (São Paulo Association of Art Critics), Qualidade Brasil, and Contigo! awards for Best Actress.
