Tony Marshall

Tony Marshall is a distinguished British television actor, hailing from Manchester, where he was born in 1964 (although some sources mistakenly list 1974). He is widely recognized for his memorable roles in popular television dramas. One of his most notable performances was as Nelson, the bartender and confidant, in the acclaimed BBC series Life on Mars, as well as in its spin-off, Ashes to Ashes.

Marshall also made significant contributions to the long-running medical drama Casualty, where he played the character Noel Garcia, a receptionist, for an impressive twelve years from 2008 until his character's heartbreaking demise due to COVID-19 in 2020. His versatility as an actor is further highlighted by his portrayal of Chris Jevon, a friend of Rodney, in later episodes of the beloved sitcom Only Fools and Horses, taking over from Steven Woodcock. Additionally, he played Diesel in the entirety of the comedy series Preston Front, showcasing his ability to engage audiences with his performances across various genres.
