Azize Erim
Azize Erim, originally from London and raised in Turkey, currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Upon relocating to LA, she immersed herself in the arts, honing her skills at esteemed institutions such as Playhouse West, Margie Haber, and Flappers. Additionally, she completed a rigorous writing program at UCB and pursued advanced writing courses, showcasing her commitment to her craft.
In a short span of time, Azize made her mark in the entertainment industry by producing short films, starring in various commercials, and securing supporting roles in feature films. Between 2015 and 2017, she contributed to the next generation of actors as an Assistant Teacher for children’s classes at Margie Haber. In 2016, she co-founded the YouTube sketch comedy channel "Broken English," which gained recognition at several festivals and was showcased on platforms like Funny or Die and WhoHaha.
Azize ventured into stand-up comedy in 2019, performing at a range of comedy clubs throughout Los Angeles. During the pandemic, she collaborated with her writing partner, Yasemin Isil, to complete her third pilot script. Beyond her artistic endeavors, Azize is dedicated to philanthropy; she became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in 2016, working tirelessly to improve their lives. Additionally, she volunteers at animal shelters and performs improv for hospitalized kids. Fluent in both Turkish and English, Azize continues to embrace her diverse background in her creative pursuits.
