Kenny Barr
Kenneth Michael Barr, known as Kenny Barr, hails from Edison, New Jersey, where he grew up as the middle child among three brothers. His siblings include Michael, who resides in Los Angeles, and Jeffrey, who remains in New Jersey.
From a young age, Kenny displayed a passion for music, mastering the guitar while jamming to the tunes of iconic bands such as the Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, and Kiss. His musical journey took off in the late 1980s when he began performing in various bands, becoming a familiar face in the Rutgers College bar scene in New Brunswick. After establishing himself on the local club circuit, Kenny earned the opportunity to play at renowned venues on Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village, New York City. A fortuitous encounter with influential record producer Russ Titleman opened doors to negotiations with major labels like Arista and Columbia Records. In 1999, he gained critical acclaim for his contribution of two songs to the feature film "Some Fish Can Fly."
Kenny's foray into acting began unexpectedly, spurred by a friendly wager to attend a casting call for "Karate Kid III." This led to a fruitful collaboration with a long-time agent, paving the way for numerous acting, commercial, and print roles. In 1998, he relocated to Atlanta, where he worked as a bounty hunter and private detective, apprehending fugitives across the country. Since 2015, Kenny has continued to make strides in the entertainment industry, acting in various television and film projects while also stepping into the role of producer for several feature films.
