Cris Vianna, born Kelly Cristina dos Santos on April 11, 1977, in São Paulo, Brazil, has carved a niche for herself as a prominent actress, model, and former singer. Following the death of her father, a sportsman, when she was just 13, Vianna took on the responsibility of supporting her family, including two younger siblings, while her mother worked as a nursing assistant. Despite these challenges, she began her modeling journey as a teenager, actively seeking opportunities with various agencies, which eventually led to her participation in fashion shows and commercials across Italy, Canada, Australia, and Germany.

Vianna made her mark in the television industry with her debut in the 2005 telenovela "América," where she played the role of Drica. She continued to rise in prominence with appearances in "Sinhá Moça" and "O Profeta" in 2006. In addition to her acting career, she was a member of the vocal group Black Voices for three years.

Her performance in the film "The Assailant" earned her the Raça Negra trophy for Best Cinema Actress in 2010. Cris Vianna became the drum queen of Grande Rio during the 2011 Carnival and joined the cast of the popular soap opera "Fina Estampa," portraying Dagmar dos Anjos. In 2014, she took on the role of Juju Popular in "Império," initially intended for another actress. Vianna has also been a vocal advocate against racism, as seen in a social media incident on December 1, 2015, alongside notable personalities like Maria Júlia Coutinho and Taís Araújo.
