James Holmes, born in 1965 in the West Midlands, is a distinguished comedy actor recognized for his contributions to both stage and television. He garnered significant acclaim for his portrayal of Clive in the beloved 2009 BBC sitcom "Miranda."

Holmes honed his craft at The Poor School in London, which paved the way for his early career.
