Anthony Bawn

Anthony Bawn, originally named Anthony Newsome, hails from Gainesville, Florida, where his enthusiasm for acting and film sparked at just two years old. He pursued his passion academically, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre with a focus on Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago, studying under the guidance of Sheldon Patinkin.

In 2014, Bawn made a significant mark in the industry with the production of his first original series, "Cheetah In August." This project garnered him attention and accolades from several local and international film festivals as well as distribution platforms, showcasing his talent and creative vision.

Currently, Bawn is a developing partner at VIM Media, LLC, where he is actively involved in creating original content for the streaming service WatchVIM. His innovative approach to storytelling and commitment to quality content continue to shape his career as he explores new avenues in the entertainment industry. With a strong foundation in both theatre and film, Anthony Bawn is poised for further achievements and contributions to the world of entertainment, reflecting his lifelong passion for the arts.
