Ela Velden

Ela Velden embarked on her acting career in 2013 with a debut in the Mexican television series, *Gossip Girl: Acapulco*. Initially cast as "Jenny Parra," she later transitioned to a recurring role as "Gaby" following a recasting. The series, filmed in Acapulco from January to May 2013, premiered on August 5, 2013, on Golden Premier, but was canceled after just one season.

After *Gossip Girl: Acapulco*, Velden made a guest appearance in the teen telenovela *Niñas Mal 2* for MTV Latin America and participated in multiple episodes of the drama series *Como dice el dicho* during the spring and summer of 2014. In May of that year, she auditioned for the role of the younger sister in Pedro Damián's telenovela, *Muchacha italiana viene a casarse*, a remake of the beloved 1971 series.

By July 2014, her casting was announced, and in August, it was confirmed she would join the project, marking her first major role in a telenovela. Filming commenced on August 25, 2014, with a two-week shoot in Maratea, Italy, where she even learned Italian for her character. The telenovela premiered on Canal de las Estrellas on October 20, 2014, solidifying Velden's rising career in the entertainment industry.
