Stefan Löfven

Kjell Stefan Löfven, known as Löfvén, was born on July 21, 1957, in Hägersten Parish, Stockholm. He is a prominent Swedish Social Democratic politician who took on the role of president of the Party of European Socialists on October 14, 2022. Löfven's political career reached its peak when he served as Prime Minister of Sweden from 2014 to 2021, leading the nation through significant challenges and reforms.

Before ascending to the premiership, Löfven was at the helm of the Social Democratic Party, a position he held from January 27, 2012, until November 4, 2021. His leadership was marked by a commitment to social welfare and economic stability, reflecting the party’s core values.
