Evan Cleaver
Evan Cleaver's journey into the world of acting began with a deep inspiration drawn from the legendary Sidney Poitier. Originally hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, he took a significant step in his academic and athletic career by accepting a basketball scholarship to Dillard University in New Orleans. Remarkably, he made history as the first student on a basketball scholarship to earn a degree in Acting from the institution.
In 2005, Cleaver faced the looming threat of Hurricane Katrina, an experience that would shape his resilience and determination. Following this life-altering event, he relocated to California to further his education, where he obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the esteemed California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
