Morag Siller, born in 1969 in Edinburgh, was a multifaceted talent known for her work as an actress, voice artist, radio host, and writer. She honed her craft at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Throughout her theatrical career, Siller shone in a variety of productions, showcasing her versatility in celebrated musicals like Grease, Mamma Mia!, and Les Misérables, as well as in classic plays such as A Comedy of Errors and Hamlet, where she shared the stage with notable actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

On the small screen, Siller made a name for herself with recurring roles in popular television series, including Casualty—which earned her the AOL award for Best Dramatic Performance in 2000—Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Monarch of the Glen. Her film credits include appearances in Memphis Belle, Secret Society, and The House of Mirth. Additionally, she gained attention for her role in Morrissey’s music video for “You’re The One For Me Fatty.”

In 2005, Siller married her longtime partner, the classical musician Tim Nicholson, and they settled in Cheshire. Tragically, Morag Siller passed away in April 2016 at the age of 46 after a courageous fight against breast cancer, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable performances and contributions to the arts.
