Chloé Mons, born on December 1, 1972, in Lille, France, is a multifaceted talent known for her work as an actress and singer. Hailing from a musical family, she is the sister of Barnabé Mons, who leads the psychedelic rock ensemble Sheetah & Les Weissmullers. Mons gained prominence as the muse for American photographer Tom Sewell and later married renowned French singer Alain Bashung in 2001, after meeting him during the filming of the music video "La nuit je mens." The couple collaborated on a special piece, "Cantique des cantiques," for their wedding, featuring the music of Rodolphe Burger. They share a daughter named Poppée.

In 2006, Mons ventured into songwriting, inspired by Calamity Jane's correspondence with her daughter, resulting in her original work, "La Ballade de Calamity Jane." That same year, she released her debut solo album, "Chienne d'un seul," performing alongside Bashung on his tour, "La Tournée des grands espaces." Her second album, "Par la rivière," self-produced in 2009, showcased a punk/country style and was performed both in France and the United States.

Mons continued her creative journey with the 2010 album "Walking," produced by Malcolm Burn. Following Bashung's passing in 2009, she published a poignant memoir titled "Let Go," detailing his last moments. In 2012, she released "Il Buio," a collaborative album with Xavier Boussiron, featuring classic hits and new interpretations. Her 2016 album, "Alectrona," blended rock 'n roll with classical chamber music, solidifying her status as a versatile artist in the French music scene.
