Kaho Shibuya
Kaho Shibuya, born in Tokyo in 1991 to a distinguished physician, is a multifaceted talent known for her work as a cosplay model, radio host, actress, author, and former adult video idol. Growing up immersed in the vibrant world of anime and manga, she has successfully carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry.
Shibuya began her career as a baseball reporter for Tokyo Sports, where she covered the Nippon Professional Baseball's Pacific League between 2013 and 2014. She demonstrated her academic prowess by earning qualifications in English teaching and childcare, achieving a perfect score on the TOEIC exams in September 2014.
In November 2014, she made a notable entrance into the adult film industry, signing an exclusive contract with Alice Japan. She became a member of the AV idol group SEXY-J from May 2015 to April 2016, during which she also released a single in August 2015. Shibuya's career took a new direction when she hosted "Kaho Shibuya’s Tawawa Challenge" on Skyperfect TV from April 2017 to November 2019, ultimately announcing her retirement from adult films in May 2018.
Post-retirement, Shibuya has embraced various roles, showcasing her passion for cosplay at international conventions and publishing two photo books featuring her in anime costumes. She made her mainstream acting debut in the film "Little Nights, Little Love" in September 2019 and is slated to voice in an upcoming anime project. As a radio host of "Kaho Shibuya’s TOKUMORI" since August 2019, she also runs a YouTube channel and launched a Twitch channel in June 2020. In July 2019, she penned a memoir reflecting on her AV career, with plans to translate it into English for publication in September 2020.
