Balaji, popularly known as Daniel Balaji, is an accomplished Indian actor renowned for his contributions to the Tamil film industry, along with notable appearances in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. He embarked on his professional journey in 1998 as a unit production manager for Kamal Haasan’s ambitious but unreleased project, Marudhanayagam.

Transitioning to acting, Balaji first showcased his talent in television serials, which paved the way for his entry into films. His breakthrough came in 2003 with the acclaimed movie Kaakha Kaakha, where he portrayed a police officer alongside the lead actor Suriya.
