After impressively making it to the top 40 candidates, she spent a month in training. While she didn’t secure a spot in the top 10 during the finals, her perseverance paid off as she became a substitute contestant when three finalists withdrew, leading her to join the temporary group Qiu Qiu Baobei.
In 2017, the group evolved into the idol ensemble CH2, where Yang began releasing singles, marking her entry into the music scene although she had not officially debuted at that time. Her big break came in 2018 when she placed third in public voting to join the popular girl group Rocket Girls 101. The group achieved significant success before disbanding on June 23, 2020, allowing Yang to pursue a solo career.
Yang's early life was marked by adversity, including her parents' divorce when she was just 12 years old, prompting her to live with her father. To support her family, she took on various jobs, including working in a sewing factory and as a waitress after finishing junior high school. Her journey reflects resilience and determination, qualities that have undoubtedly contributed to her success in the entertainment industry.
