Olga Damani
Olga Damani, born on November 17, 1943, in Athens, is a distinguished Greek actress whose career spans several decades in theater, television, and film. She graduated from the Dramatic School of the Art Theater in 1975 and quickly made her mark in the performing arts.
From 1975 to 1985, Damani was an integral part of the "Karolos Koun" Art Theater, where she showcased her talent in classical productions, including Aeschylus's "Seven on Thebes," Aristophanes's "Hens," and Euripides's "Bacchus." Her time with this prestigious theater laid a strong foundation for her subsequent work.
In the years that followed, from 1986 to 1995, she continued to flourish at the National Theater, participating in notable plays such as "Exile" by Pavlos Matesi and "Churchmen" by Aristophanes. She collaborated with esteemed directors like Vassilis Papavasileiou, Giorgos Armenis, and Yiannis Diamantopoulos, performing works that ranged from ancient dramas to modern masterpieces by Shakespeare, Ibsen, and Arthur Miller.
