He gained significant recognition through his performances in several films, including the role of Swivel Tongue in You'll Never Get Rich (1941), Nosey Haskins in In Old Colorado (1941), and Barney Google in Hillbilly Blitzkrieg (1942).

In addition to his film work, Nazarro lent his voice to the beloved Warner Bros. cartoon character, Egghead, showcasing his versatility as a performer. His contributions to music included a few commercial recordings, notably a 1932 collaboration as a vocalist with the swing band Roane's Pennsylvanians, and a humorous 1942 recitation titled "News of the World."

Nazarro also made several uncredited appearances on the iconic Jack Benny Program during the 1930s and early 1940s, further solidifying his presence in the entertainment industry.
