Geoffrey Rush
Geoffrey Roy Rush AC, born on July 6, 1951, is a distinguished Australian actor celebrated for his unique and dynamic performances in both theatre and film. Among an elite group of only 24 individuals, Rush has earned the prestigious Triple Crown of Acting, which includes an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Tony Award. His impressive accolades also feature three BAFTA Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition to his artistic achievements, Rush plays a pivotal role in the Australian film industry as the founding president of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored as the Australian of the Year in 2012.
