Áine Ní Mhuirí, an accomplished Irish actress born in Dublin, has made significant contributions to the performing arts throughout her career. She launched her acting journey at the Damer Theatre before moving on to the prestigious Abbey Theatre in Dublin. A proficient speaker of the Irish language, Áine gained recognition for her powerful performances in various theatrical productions.

One of her early notable roles was in 1975 when she portrayed Margaret Drybone in Teresa Deevy's play "Katie Roche." Her film career includes a memorable performance in the 1987 adaptation of Brian Moore's novel, "The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne." In 1989, she took on the role of Masie Madigan in the National Theatre's London production of "Juno and the Paycock."

Áine is also well-known for her role as Lily in the popular Irish soap opera "Fair City" on RTÉ One. Her portrayal of Kathleen Hendley in "Ballykissangel" earned her the CFT Excellence Award for Best Actress in a Television Series in 2001, during which she appeared in 53 episodes from 1996 to 2001.

In 2012, she showcased her talent in Pan Pan Theatre Company's rendition of Ibsen's "A Doll House" at Smock Alley Theatre. Additionally, she played Mrs. Taylor in the Irish television drama "Jack Taylor," featuring adaptations of Ken Bruen's novels. Áine is also set to participate in "Embers," a theatrical interpretation of a Samuel Beckett radio play, staged by Pan Pan Theatre Company at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in September 2015.
