Beth Rodden, born on April 5, 1980, is a prominent American rock climber celebrated for her exceptional achievements in challenging single-pitch traditional climbing. Rodden made history as the youngest woman to successfully climb the 5.14a (8b+) grade and is one of the few female climbers globally to have redpointed a 5.14c (8c+) traditional route.

From 2000 to 2010, she partnered with fellow climber Tommy Caldwell, during which they accomplished the prestigious second free ascent of the iconic route The Nose. Their partnership not only exemplified their remarkable skills but also showcased their dedication to pushing the boundaries of the sport.

In 2008, Rodden reached a significant milestone by achieving the first ascent of Meltdown, a climb considered one of the most challenging traditional routes worldwide.
