Nelson Yu Lik-wai

After completing his studies in cinematography at Belgium's INSAS (Institut National Supérieur des Arts de Spectacle) in 1994, Yu established himself as a vital figure in contemporary cinema.

Yu's most notable collaborations include his long-standing partnership with acclaimed director Jia Zhangke, for whom he has served as director of photography on nearly all of his films.
