He is a distinguished member of the European Film Academy as well as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Following this success, his second feature, “Amal,” premiered at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) and garnered accolades at prestigious events such as the Sheffield Doc/Fest, accumulating over 100 festival awards in total.

Siam's narrative filmmaking journey began with his upcoming work, “My Father's Scent,” set to debut in 2025, which has already garnered attention by winning five awards at the Venice Final Cut 2024.
