Maxwell Jacob Friedman
Maxwell Tyler Friedman, widely recognized in the wrestling world as Maxwell Jacob Friedman or simply MJF, is a prominent American professional wrestler who embarked on his wrestling journey in 2015 with Create A Pro Wrestling. In 2019, he joined the ranks of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he quickly established himself as a formidable competitor. Friedman is a two-time AEW World Champion, with his first reign setting a record at an impressive 406 days, and he has also claimed the title of AEW International Champion once.
Beyond the wrestling ring, Friedman has ventured into acting, showcasing his talents in the film industry. He appeared in the 2023 movie The Iron Claw, taking on the role of Lance Von Erich, and is set to star alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2, slated for release in 2025. Additionally, he made a guest appearance on the popular hidden-camera series Impractical Jokers, where he participated in various comedic challenges.
Before his rise in AEW, Friedman had a successful stint with Major League Wrestling (MLW), where he held the MLW World Tag Team Championship once and was the inaugural MLW World Middleweight Champion. He also made a name for himself on the independent circuit, competing in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where he secured the CZW World Heavyweight Championship and the CZW Wired Championship.
