Adrian Ballinger

Adrian Ballinger, born on February 25, 1976, is a distinguished British-American mountain guide, skier, and entrepreneur, renowned for his extensive contributions to high-altitude climbing. As the founder and CEO of Alpenglow Expeditions, Adrian has dedicated 25 years to full-time guiding, during which he has successfully led over 150 climbing expeditions across six continents.

A notable figure in the climbing community, Ballinger has reached the summits of 18 peaks exceeding 8,000 meters, showcasing his expertise in extreme altitude challenges. He is particularly celebrated for introducing pre-acclimatization techniques for commercial expeditions, a practice he began implementing in 2012, which has since transformed the approach to high-altitude climbs.
