Kyle C. Mumford is a dynamic artist based in New York City, whose creative journey began at the School of Visual Arts. His third-year documentary, "Mumford's Law," garnered significant recognition by being selected for the Heartland Film Festival in 2009, where it received a nomination for the prestigious Crystal Heart Jury Award. Following this success, his thesis project, "His Naked Mind," achieved acclaim at the Dusty Film Festival, winning awards for Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Directing.

Since graduating in 2010, Kyle has built a versatile career in film and television, making significant contributions as an editor and working in the locations department. He served as an assistant to acclaimed writer/director Tom Gormican and also directed music videos that aired on platforms such as Nick Jr., MTVu, and Fuse TV. His passion for storytelling extended to the theater scene in NYC, where he collaborated with legendary figures like Anthony Abeson and the late Elizabeth Kemp.

Kyle’s short films, including "Making Friends," "The Door," and "Jamie & Jonathan," have been featured in prestigious festivals such as the Palm Springs International ShortFest, Florida Film Festival, and Portland Film Festival, among others. Additionally, he has penned numerous screenplays that advanced to the second rounds of notable competitions, including the Austin Film Festival and Sundance Labs.
