Kirsty McGregor’s early life remains somewhat of a mystery, although a captivating photograph of her performing in roller skates at a 1,200-seat theatre hints at her artistic beginnings. Coming from a large, creative family, Kirsty quickly learned to master various unique skills to capture the attention of those around her. By the tender age of six, she was already earning money for her performances.

As she matured, Kirsty showcased her talents in a range of theatre and television productions, most notably in the Australian cult classic "Bride’s of Christ." Her portrayal of a devout Catholic girl pushed her acting abilities to new heights. However, by her late twenties, she grew weary of being typecast as a teenager and discovered a newfound passion for the casting process.

Transitioning from performer to casting director, Kirsty collaborated with numerous industry professionals across Sydney. It was during this time that she realized the benefits of entrepreneurship; the idea of running her own business from home appealed to her desire for flexibility—leading to the creation of McGregor Casting. Through dedication and hard work, she transformed it into one of Sydney's most esteemed casting agencies.

Today, Kirsty partners with some of Australia’s leading directors, all while maintaining her love for roller skating. Her journey reflects both resilience and creativity, solidifying her status in the entertainment industry.
