Kristian Schmid, born on November 28, 1974, in Geelong, Australia, is a prominent Australian actor recognized mainly for his portrayal of Todd Landers on the iconic soap opera Neighbours. Schmid's acting career took a significant turn when he landed the role of Leading Seaman Robert Dixon in the hit Nine Network drama Sea Patrol, where he showcased his talent across all four seasons and was confirmed to return for the fifth.

Following his tenure on Neighbours, Schmid took on the character Adam Newman in the 1990s reboot of The Tomorrow People. During this time, he humorously proposed to esteemed actress Jean Marsh during a filming session, highlighting his playful personality. His four-year tenure in the UK allowed him to engage with various television shows and theater productions, including notable performances in The Lion in Winter and Laura.

Schmid has also received acclaim for his role in Two Weeks with the Queen, having performed in both a BBC production in London and with the Windmill Theatre Company in 2006, where he impressed audiences as Alistair.
