**Biography of Ronald Top**

Ronald Top is a versatile actor, presenter, writer, producer, and director hailing from the Netherlands, who has made a name for himself in international film, television, and theater. Initially rooted in journalism, Ronald took a bold step at the age of 29 to pursue his lifelong aspiration of acting. He graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts, and soon began his theatrical journey with a company in Antwerp, later showcasing his talent with prominent Dutch institutions such as Het Nationale Theater and Noord Nederlands Toneel.

In recent years, Ronald has gained global recognition for his role as Erik Hunter in the popular Nickelodeon series Hunter Street. His dynamic presence has captivated audiences far and wide. As a television presenter, he has hosted over 30 hours of programming for the Discovery Channel, featuring acclaimed series like Inventing History, Legend Detectives, and Industrial Revelations: the European Story. Notably, he co-wrote and presented the award-winning film Space Transportation: an ATV Perspective for the European Space Agency.

In the UK, Ronald became a household name through the iconic Grolsch beer commercial campaign (Schtop!), which delighted viewers for six years. Recently, he secured a multi-million dollar deal for an action/adventure film, co-writing the script, Danny Hudson and the Legend of the Half Moon, alongside esteemed London writer Richard Nash. Additionally, he directed the poignant documentary Fernando Ricksen: The Final Battle for RTL, and created Food Markets: In the Belly of Amsterdam for ARTE/ZDF/RAI, while producing Stella Vie: Driven by the Sun for National Geographic.
