Callum Wilson, now 29, began his professional journey with his local team, Coventry City. He advanced through their youth academy, subsequently gaining valuable experience through loan spells at Kettering and Tamworth. Wilson made a significant impact at Coventry, netting 23 goals in 55 appearances for the first team.

In 2014, Wilson made the move to AFC Bournemouth, where he played a pivotal role in the club's promotion to the Premier League during his inaugural season.
