Larry Pine
Larry Pine, born on March 3, 1945, is a distinguished American actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. His acting journey commenced Off-Broadway, where he quickly made a name for himself. In 1968, he took on the role of Fop in *Cyrano de Bergerac* at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre and later became a founding member of the avant-garde Manhattan Project theater company, performing in a notable adaptation of *Alice in Wonderland* directed by Andre Gregory in 1970.
Pine made his film debut in 1978 in James Ivory's *Hullabaloo Over Georgie and Bonnie's Pictures*, which initially aired on television but was later released in theaters. Throughout his career, he has showcased his talent in a range of films, including Louis Malle's *Vanya on 42nd Street* and Woody Allen's *Celebrity*, *Small Time Crooks*, and *Melinda and Melinda*. His unique presence has also been highlighted in the book *Are You Dave Gorman?*, where he is recognized as the first actor to portray a fictional Dave Gorman in *The Ice Storm*.
In television, Pine had significant roles in the soap opera *All My Children*, portraying Max Jeffries in 1992 and Barry Shire #1 from 1997 to 1999.
