Suzannah Lipscomb
Dr. Suzannah Lipscomb serves as a Senior Lecturer and Convener for History at the New College of the Humanities in London, while also teaching Early Modern History at the University of East Anglia. Renowned for her expertise in Tudor history, she has made numerous appearances on prominent television programs, including BBC's The One Show, ITV’s GMTV, Channel 4’s Time Team, and BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. Additionally, she hosted BBC Radio 3’s The Essay and co-hosted the History Channel’s Inside the World of Henry VIII. In Spring 2012, she launched a captivating three-part series focused on the Tower of London, which aired on National Geographic.
Lipscomb is a prolific author, with notable works including *1536: The Year that Changed Henry VIII* and *A Visitor's Companion to Tudor England*. She also co-authored *Henry VIII: 500 Facts* and contributes regularly to History Today and BBC History Magazine. Previously, she spent three years as the Research Curator at Historic Royal Palaces, primarily at Hampton Court Palace, and currently serves as a Consultant for the organization, contributing to their Research Strategy Board. With her engaging presentations and insightful writings, Dr. Lipscomb has established herself as a leading voice in the field of history, particularly regarding the Tudor dynasty.
