Sarah Ann Leahy
Sarah Ann Leahy hails from Southeast Michigan, where her passion for the performing arts began. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Eastern Michigan University, followed by a Master of Fine Arts in Acting and Directing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. With over 15 years dedicated to mastering action arts for film and unarmed combat on stage, Sarah has achieved certifications in various combat techniques, including broadsword, rapier, knife, and quarterstaff. Additionally, she possesses expertise in firearms and tactical movement, showcasing her versatile skill set.
In a unique twist to her career, Sarah also enjoyed a successful stint as a professional yo-yo performer, spending three years traveling across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia with her captivating one-person show. Her diverse experiences enrich her performances and deepen her understanding of storytelling across different mediums.
Now residing in New York City, Sarah continues to pursue her passion for acting and directing, contributing to both stage and screen projects. Her extensive training and experience have enabled her to carve a niche for herself in the competitive world of the performing arts, where she remains an influential and dynamic figure.
