Alison Lani hails from Hyde Park, Chicago, Illinois, where she developed a passion for the performing arts. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ithaca College, which set the stage for her entry into Chicago's vibrant theater scene. In this environment, Alison had the opportunity to learn from notable figures such as Michael Gellman of The Second City and Steve Scott from Goodman Theatre.

Alison's breakout moment in film came when she portrayed the quirky lead in the cult classic horror movie "Hardhat," directed by David Worth, known for his work on "Kickboxer" and "Bloodsport." Her talent was further showcased in her role as Belina Kowaleski on Sony's superhero series "Powers," where she shared the screen with actors like Sharlto Copley, Susan Heyward, and Teri Wyble.

Seeking to expand her creative horizons, Alison attended the Upright Citizens Brigade, where she was inspired to create and produce her own web series, "Burning Bridges," featuring Natalie Palamides. The series gained significant recognition, being screened at over ten film festivals and winning the "Best Webseries" award at the Miami Independent Film Festival. Through her diverse talents in acting, writing, and production, Alison Lani continues to make a lasting impact in the entertainment industry.
