Hoàng Dũng

Hoàng Dũng (December 31, 1956 – February 14, 2021) was a celebrated Vietnamese actor and director, leaving an indelible mark on both film and theatre. Serving as the Director of Hanoi Theatre from 2007 to 2017, he cultivated a rich career characterized by his exceptional range and powerful performances. Dũng garnered acclaim for his contributions to national theatre festivals, showcasing his talents in various acclaimed plays.

His versatility extended to cinema, where he took on numerous memorable supporting roles that showcased his depth as an actor. However, it was his portrayal of the formidable mob boss Phan Quân in the popular television series "Người phán xử" that catapulted him to national fame.
