Cansu Dere, born on October 14, 1980, in Ankara, is a prominent Turkish actress, model, and beauty pageant finalist. She earned her degree in Archaeology from Istanbul University before entering the entertainment industry, marking her on-screen debut in early 2004.

Dere gained widespread recognition for her compelling portrayal of 'Sıla' in the acclaimed television series "Sıla," which aired from 2006 to 2008 alongside Mehmet Akif Alakurt. Her career continued to flourish as she took on the role of 'Defne' in the historical drama film "The Last Ottoman Yandım Ali."
