Liam O'Brien, hailing from Limerick, has cultivated a diverse and dynamic career in acting, which took off with extensive work and tours alongside the Island Theatre Company. He made his television debut at just 15 years old in the RTE/BBC drama 'Edward No Hands', portraying a troubled teenager, a role that set the stage for a versatile career. O'Brien has showcased his talent across a range of characters, from the charming Cary Grant to the intense Billy Bibbitt, and even the spirited Bianca in 'Taming of the Shrew'.

His big break came while portraying Owen in the Manchester Library Theatre's production of 'Translations', which led to an audition for the long-running ITV series 'Emmerdale'. For two years, he brought to life the character of Ethan Blake, the village curate, before returning to the stage in a recent rendition of 'The Glass Menagerie'.

In addition to his on-screen work, O’Brien is an accomplished voice actor, contributing his vocal talents to various animated series produced by Magma Films and the BBC. A passionate singer, he has also graced the stage in numerous jazz cabarets, including a memorable performance alongside the 'Emmerdale' cast at a Big Band Charity Concert at The Sands Venue in Gainsborough.
