Anders Öfvergård
Sven Anders Öfvergård, born on January 3, 1968, in Danderyd, Stockholm County, is a prominent Swedish television host, construction engineer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Öfvergård Konsult AB, a construction firm that has earned recognition in the industry. Before venturing into television, Öfvergård spent over ten years managing four pubs and gained experience working with the advertising agency Lowe Brindfors.
From 2009 to 2016, Öfvergård became a household name in Sweden through his work with Kanal 5, hosting popular shows like "Arga snickaren," "Arga restaurangen," and "Nybyggarna." His engaging personality and expertise in construction and renovation made these programs a hit among viewers. In 2016, he transitioned to TV4, where he hosted various shows, including "Fuskbyggarna," "Anders knocks on the door," and "Robinson." He also showcased his dancing skills as a contestant on "Let's Dance" in 2017, partnering with Cecilia Ehrling Danermark, and appeared in the health-focused series "Den stora hälsoresan."
However, in September 2021, TV4 ended its collaboration with Öfvergård following reports of inappropriate behavior at a staff event. Despite this setback, he remains a notable figure in Swedish media. Öfvergård resides in Värmdö with his wife and their four children, balancing family life with his professional endeavors.
