Allen Marsh is a talented American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. Born at MCAS Cherry Point in North Carolina, he grew up in a dynamic environment, frequently moving across six states due to his parents’ professions; his mother, Mary Jo, was a teacher, while his father, Joseph, served as a pastor. By the time he reached 17, he had attended eight different schools. His early passion for performance led him to become the president of his high school’s drama club and pursue a degree in theatre at college. Following his education, Marsh served in the Air Force, contributing to the 548th Reconnaissance Technical Group in Hawaii and later at the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific in Pearl Harbor.

After his military service, Allen explored various career paths, including graphic design, closed captioning, flight attending, and radio announcing. His acting career gained momentum when he auditioned for a role in the stage play *You Can't Take It with You* (1938).

Marsh's notable performances include portraying screenwriter Alvin Sargent in *The Offer* (2022) alongside Josh Zuckerman and Colin Hanks, and playing C.S. Lewis in *Tolkien's the Lord of the Rings: A Catholic Worldview* (2011). He also took on the role of televangelist Jim Bakker in *The Con* (2020) and depicted producer Lou Adler in *Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty* (2022). Additionally, he frequently appears as pianist Les Thomas on *The Young and the Restless* (1973) and will portray Dr. Neal Elattrache in Ryan Murphy's upcoming series *American Sports Story* (2024).
