Ellen Helinder, an accomplished actress, was born and raised in Karlstad, Sweden, before moving to major cities such as London, Oslo, and Stockholm. Her journey in the performing arts began at just ten years old when she took the stage at Värmlandsteatern in her hometown. In her early twenties, Helinder relocated to Stockholm to fully immerse herself in her acting career, honing her skills through renowned techniques, including Chubbuck and Meisner.

Helinder has appeared in several popular Swedish television series, notably Gåsmamman (2016) and Sommaren med släkten (2020). Her breakthrough came in 2018 when she portrayed Magdalena in the acclaimed series Exit, which has garnered the title of Scandinavia’s most-watched show ever. Her compelling performance elevated her character to a central role in the show's third season.
