Fumani Shilubana is a prominent South African actor celebrated for his portrayal of Detective Dabula in the popular SABC3 soap opera Isidingo. His acting career gained momentum with roles such as Detective Nataniel in the SABC2 drama series Hillside from 2006 to 2008, and Dr. Mokhethi in the iconic soap Generations between 2008 and 2009.

Born in Shiluvana Village, Tzaneen, Limpopo, Shilubana initially pursued modeling in 2000 but shifted his focus to drama after visiting the South African State Theatre. There, he met Irene Mathe and earned a Certificate in Speech and Drama from the Tshwana Modern Arts Company in 2001. His journey continued with the State Theatre's Development Program, where he honed his craft under the mentorship of playwright and director Mpumelelo Paul Grootboom.

Shilubana made his professional stage debut in 2003 and has participated in numerous productions, including Hamlet and the acclaimed trilogy Welcome to Rocksburg, which toured Europe. His performance in Relativity "township stories" earned him a Naledi Award nomination for Best Supporting Role in 2006.

In addition to his television success in productions like Soul City and Muvhango, Shilubana expanded his portfolio with notable commercial appearances and received the Mama Beka Community Award in 2009 for his contributions to the province.

In 2015, he ventured into production and direction with his film Khomelela, aimed at enriching the Tsonga film narrative. He also starred in several Mzansi Magic projects, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the South African entertainment industry.
