Leif Mannerström

Leif Reinhold Mannerström, born on March 17, 1940, in Stockholm, is a distinguished figure in the Swedish culinary scene. Renowned as a restaurateur, he made a significant mark between 1994 and 2010 as the owner of Sjömagasinet, a celebrated restaurant in Gothenburg known for its exquisite seafood offerings. Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Mannerström has gained prominence as a judge on popular cooking competitions such as "Sveriges mästerkock" and "Sveriges yngsta mästerkock," both aired on TV4, where he has shared his expertise and passion for gastronomy with aspiring chefs.

Mannerström’s culinary journey includes managing a diverse array of restaurants, showcasing his versatility and dedication to fine dining. His establishments have included Golfrestaurangen in Hovås, Johanna, and Kometen, all located in Gothenburg, as well as Aquarella in the Canary Islands, and Belle Avenue back in Gothenburg.
