Garry McFadden
Garry L. McFadden is a prominent American law enforcement figure, currently serving as the 45th Sheriff of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, having taken office on December 4, 2018. Before his election as Sheriff, McFadden enjoyed a notable 36-year career with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, where he earned a reputation as a legendary homicide detective, dedicating over two decades to solving complex cases.
Throughout his tenure as a detective, McFadden achieved one of the highest solve rates in the department's history, which ultimately led to his starring role in the television series “I Am Homicide.” This show showcases some of his most significant cases and the investigative techniques used to apprehend criminals.
