Woodlene Alexis moved to New York City with aspirations of becoming an elementary school teacher, enrolling in the prestigious New York City Teaching Fellows Master's Program. However, her journey took an unexpected turn when she began attending casting calls, leading her to embark on a modeling career in the vibrant world of New York City. Woodlene has graced numerous high-profile national and international print and commercial campaigns, representing brands such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Amazon, IBM, Starbucks, and Rémy Martin, among others. She has also collaborated with Jay Manuel, known from America's Next Top Model, for his Jay Manuel Beauty Cosmetics line and has been featured in various fashion editorials.

Eager to broaden her artistic expression into television, film, and voice-over work, Woodlene sought training from esteemed acting teacher Anthony Abeson and honed her skills further with Ted Sluberski. She also gained valuable improv experience at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

Currently, Woodlene is making her mark on both network and streaming platforms, appearing in shows like The Bite, Elementary, and The Good Fight. Notably, she stars in the pilot episode of Divorce School, a project that garnered accolades, winning Best TV Series at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Best Web Series at the New York Film Awards, and Best Pilot at the Garden State Film Festival.
