Joseph Harry Fowler Connick, Jr., born on September 11, 1967, is a multifaceted American artist renowned for his talents as a singer, actor, composer, and pianist. With over 25 million albums sold globally, Connick ranks among the top 60 best-selling male artists in the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America, boasting 16 million certified albums. He has achieved seven top-20 albums in the U.S. and holds the record for the most number-one jazz albums in U.S. history, with ten to his name.

His most commercially successful album, the 1993 Christmas classic *When My Heart Finds Christmas*, remains one of the highest-selling holiday albums in the country. His 2004 album *Only You* reached impressive heights, peaking at #5 in the U.S. and #6 in the UK. Connick’s accolades include three Grammy Awards and an Emmy Award. He is also known for his role as Dr. Leo Markus, Grace's husband, on the popular television sitcom *Will & Grace* from 2002 to 2006.
