Aurora Snow
Aurora Snow, originally from Santa Maria, California, with roots in Albuquerque, New Mexico, began her journey in the performing arts at the tender age of 12 through local community and regional theater. She pursued her education at the University of California, Irvine, where, after her freshman year, she responded to an ad for nude modeling, which marked the transition into the adult film industry. As she continued her studies, Snow shifted her focus to business.
Initially inexperienced in sexual experiences, Snow started her career with smaller gonzo and pro-am films before gravitating towards more traditional, narrative-driven adult films. Her stage name reflects her childhood favorites, Princess Aurora and Snow White. Between 2003 and 2005, she served as both a performer and director for Sin City, making her directorial debut with the film "Assploitations."
In a notable stand for performer rights, Snow publicly supported the 2012 Measure B in Los Angeles, which mandated condom use in adult film productions, despite not using them in her own scenes.
Snow's personal life saw her in relationships with fellow adult film actor Jay Ashley and writer Richard Abowitz. In April 2012, she announced her engagement to a new partner. On September 30, 2013, she shared her pregnancy news through an emotional letter on The Daily Beast, which resonated widely online. Snow welcomed her son, Quentin, on December 10, 2013, and later celebrated her marriage on February 15, 2015.
