Alicja Bachleda-Curuś

Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, born on May 12, 1983, in Tampico, Mexico, is a distinguished Polish actress and singer known for her compelling performances in film and television. She is recognized for her roles in notable productions such as *Trade*, *Ondine*, and *Pan Tadeusz*. Alicja is the daughter of Lidia and Tadeusz Bachleda-Curuś, a geologist, and she grew up in Zakopane, Poland, alongside her brother Tadeusz and half-sister Urszula. Her uncle, Adam Bachleda-Curuś, has served as the mayor of Zakopane, highlighting a family legacy of public service.

Alicja's artistic journey began early, as she attended the Elzbieta Armatys' Theater, Music and Dance Studio, where she honed her skills while also studying Spanish and English. Although she enrolled at Jagiellonian University to pursue Iberian studies and cultural studies, she left to focus on her burgeoning acting career.

To further develop her craft, she studied at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. Additionally, Alicja pursued psychology at the University of California, complementing her artistic endeavors with a degree in art history.
