Berkay Ateş
Berkay Ateş, born to a family with roots in Ardahan and Malatya, has made significant strides in the Turkish entertainment industry. He gained recognition for his compelling performance as Ahmet in the film 'Abluka,' which earned him the Promising Young Actor Award at the 22nd Golden Boll Film Festival.
Beginning his artistic journey in theater, Berkay honed his craft with Semaver Kumpanya before pursuing a degree in Theater at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. His talent in acting has been showcased in various productions, including his portrayal of Rebel in 'Yarim Kalan Mucize,' Cengiz in the television drama 'Anne,' and Saltuk in 'Istanbul Sokaklari.'
A versatile artist, he has also contributed to the theater scene as an assistant at prestigious institutions such as Dot Theater, Semiha Berksoy Opera Foundation, and Theater Krek. His theatrical performances include roles in notable plays like 'Bent,' 'Yirmi Bes,' and 'Karabatak,' produced by Theater D22, as well as the collaborative work 'Altidan Sonra Tiyatro/Pangar' and 'Kral (Soytarim) Lear.'
In addition to his acting career, Berkay is a playwright, having authored works such as 'Yirmi Bes,' 'Karabatak,' and 'Hak.' With a growing portfolio in both film and theater, Berkay Ateş continues to establish himself as a prominent figure in the arts.
