Terry Weaver
Terry Weaver hails from San Bernardino, California, a neighboring city to Los Angeles. Following his high school graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman, where he served as a combat medic alongside the U.S. Marines during a deployment to Kuwait and Iraq from 2002 to 2003. After five years of dedicated service, he was honorably discharged.
Pursuing higher education, Terry attended Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where he was awarded the prestigious Pat Tillman Foundation Scholarship—honoring the legacy of Army Ranger and NFL player Pat Tillman, who lost his life in combat. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2011 and later completed a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2020.
With over a decade of experience in sales and marketing, Terry also established the VEL INSTITUTE, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at empowering veterans through leadership and entrepreneurship training.
In 2019, he published "The Evolution of A Leader," exploring the principles and mindsets of renowned leaders. The following year, he released his first suspense novel, "A Dark Day in Texas," inspired by the character Eli Ridge, along with "All My Best: A Book of Wisdom and Encouragement for a Better Life." His upcoming work, "Whitewashed Tomb," is slated for release in fall 2021.
Terry has also taken on the role of lead actor in the eight-episode streaming series "Breaking Strongholds," set in Montgomery, Texas. Residing in a Houston suburb with his wife Chelley and their four children, Terry is driven by a mission to inspire others through his faith, creativity, and writing.
