Norman Maurer
Norman Maurer was a multifaceted American comic book artist, writer, director, and producer, who gained prominence through his close collaboration with the iconic comedy ensemble, The Three Stooges. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Maurer embarked on his professional journey in the comic book realm, where he produced two notable issues of The Three Stooges comic in 1949. His personal life intertwined with his professional endeavors when he married Joan Howard in 1947, the daughter of Moe Howard, one of the Stooges.
